Helicopter, also known as a rotary wing aircraft. Typically driven by a single pilot using the two main flight controls known as the "cyclic" and the "collective." The cyclic controls the overall pitch of the rotor plate while the collective controls the throttle, and pitch of the individual rotor blades.
