PS. Sure wish there was video of Carl's winning 3-salt fish battle from the previous year. One of the most epic battles for a fish that I've been a part of, and witnessed.

Imagine that size fish just running everywhere, with two boats in hot pursuit, all the time, beating, splashing, smashing, cussing, and god know's what else at each other. Finally, Bob firing up his backpack leaf blower, sticking the nozzle in the water pointed at the bow of the boat, and power-douching everyone! I think a 100 gallons of water went in to that boat in a few seconds!

Somehow, I took the longest handled net I could find, stuck it all the way down in the river to where I had just a hand on the tip of the handle and the fish somehow swam in to the net.
