I agree with RVW as well. Unfortunately, history shows that that is exactly where our military members are killed (post Civil War, or course). Foreign soil (be it desert or not) is where our soldiers go to fight.

Some of us grew up remembering "Duck and Cover" drills at school, the cold war, Nikita Kruschev and his famous rant, "We will bury you!", N/S Korea, etc.

Are we headed down a similar road now? Who knows. Crazy bastards in crazy lands are scary. World population of seven billion and growing (that's more than double since I served)......can't keep that up......there WILL be an equalizer at some point......like it or not.
