In steelhead fishing you can catch 'em all with every technique with one rod/reel combo...in bird hunting you can kill them all with one gun, especially if that one gun is a .12 Gauge.

That being said...it's a lot more fun to have a lot of guns, too And if you're going to have a lot, may as well get a lot of different kinds!
