Yea the shimanos are alot quiter becuase of the disengaging line gear. Iv heard there packed full of unneeded grease that slows them down. The curado i compared to it just seemed so much smoother and easier to cast and i dont think the disengaging guide was to only thing making it smoother, Reeled smoother casted smoother.I was alittle hesitant trading it cuz i heard they no longer make this reel but the winch is realy the same thing with differnt gears. So if i regret it il just get another revo winch.
