Vis line - there is a reason for it

Thanks

Are you a rower or a boat whore? If rower you are captn run braid and mark your stop (when you see the mark -click) "they ain't rown a d it gives you a mark point-utherhwise backbounce, drift, spinner spoon - life is good just fish and learn

I am a rower, i have floated a number of river just never put in any time pulling plugs for steelhead, i have only really ran divers and bait for chinook.

Oh... and SZ, the whole pulling plugs is like sleeping with your mother statement, boring and not much fun, ill just go ahead and take your word on that but im still going to give pulling plugs a shot!

Thanks again guys!

I think it depends on the person. I've spent more time backtrolling than I have any other method. Why? Because I still enjoy it and get a rush when I see a rod double over from a huge steelhead, not to mention it's pretty damn effective -- almost cheating -- if you know how to do it properly.

The only advice I'll give to you is that if you find fish, row back up and go for a second pass, or third if you're lucky. If you're really lucky you can hook 5 fish out of one small hole.
