A marriage is always a work in progress. We'll have been married for 40 years. The final basic question to ask yourself is whether you are better with your wife or better without her. I've probably asked myself that question at least once a year, if not more often, since we've been together. Our last anniversary I asked my wife why she's stuck it out with me and she said because I can still make her laugh. I didn't ask if it was at me or with me.
