We made it and it was a job I didn't think would be that tough, but it was.

Could never of done it without all the help we got each day.

A couple of the clippers that really was there everyday was Steve B, Ernie, Mikey B, Ron E and several others. These guys should get most of the credit. We would be there another week if ya weren't there.

OK, nuff of the BS. I'll have all the numbers soon as Ron E. gets them all added up. It was a bunch.

Here is the items Ron E. totaled up. 1112 man hours and 157 hours travel time. This cost the WDFW zero as we all covered all our own expenses.

Next on my plan is to see why we can't get the free Discovery Pass's that a person can get for donating 24 hours to the WDFW. They want us to sweep up and cleaning around boat launches and such and pick up limbs instead of saving the department the clipping fees.

Last tank almost empty. This is the one we were looking for.

And here is fish number 421,850 being clipped by yours truly.

Congratulations to Salmo g. and Softbite for doing yer share of the work and now are being awarded with winning the guided trip donated by Superfly.

And, ya ain't through with me yet. Here is a letter I got from the guys that run the hatchery. Thanks, it was fun.

Humptulips Fish Hatchery Statement

The crew from the Humptulips Hatchery would like to thanks everyone who gave their valuable time and made such a great effort to clip Chinook and Coho the last couple of weeks.

The average number of fish clipped per day was 44,000. Things went very well and it was good meeting and getting to know many of you.

Dave Crosby (Humptulips Store owner) cooked well earned lunches for the volunteers and Fred kept everyone informed of what was happening. Thank you for stepping up. Summer and fall will be much smoother around here because of the sacrifice all of you made.

Thanks again,

Hump Crew
