Caught 2 Sockeye around 6pm this afternoon.


My 10 year son caught this Native Steelhead. This fish was returned unharmed back into the river. We had to bank the fish because of the dangerous rivers edge and we really didn't relies it was a steelhead en-tell we got it out of the water. I was very proud of my son for releasing this fish with out a doubt in his mind. He understands the rarity of catching a wild steelhead and that they have to go back to re-produce so maybe when he's older these fish can return in better numbers. It isnt the best pic because we wanted to get it back into the water asap.
