In this country it's "He who has the Gold can convince half the people in the country that the schit he's about to feed them is good for them, so they will vote for him, eat the schit, and smile all the way home"...how Republicans have managed to convince millions of people to vote in direct contravention of their own well being is one of the biggest mysteries of American Democracy.
