They had to spend a day apologizing for Romney telling people in a small town that the cookies from their favorite bakery were "from 7-11".

They are talking about Romney's tax returns every day.

They had to spend a week explaining what Romney meant when he said "I'm not worried about poor people".

They've spent 50 or 60 days explaining how laying off tens of thousands of workers thru Bain was good.

They haven't wasted any time on it yet, but after the conventions they will have to burn time every day explaining one or more complete about faces that Romney has made on key issues over the past decade...issues that most of which wouldn't be "key" if it weren't for Romney making them news by changing his mind on so many of them.

Those are just a few examples of the stuff that the right wing talking heads and Romney have to do every day...and it's only August, it's going to get a lot, lot worse.

When the RNC platform committee met they should have said "here's our platform"...and it should have had one, single plank on it that said "the economy".

Instead they are showing their TeaBagger roots by having to make outlawing abortion an issue...it's a non-issue, just like many of the above I just listed, except for the fact that they keep making non-issues into issues by talking about them.

The one issue they can win on...the economy...will be buried by dozens of others, all of which are losers for the GOP.
