Really good. Now is prime time as the natural forage is waning and they are trying to fatten up for winter. The bears here have been active well into the Am and coming out in the open 2 hours before dark. I had two trying to figure a way into my bee hives at 2:00 in the afternnon last week. The wild pear, apple plum and cherry trees did not produce much this year and the black berries where a little light so the bears are on the hunt. I had a big boar feeding berries at my fence line last friday. His back was above the 3rd wire on my pasture fence which is 42" off the ground. He was hunched up a bit feeding but he is an easy 400lber. I have been watching him for several years. I walked out and had a talk with him and he never even bothered to look at me. I was 20 yds away. I have shot enough bears so I do not hunt them much anymore.
