Started my season down in Goldendale. Fair amount of animals to be seen. As usual, the antlerless (what I can take) were skittish. The bucks, on the other hand, were out and proud.

Best group was a spike in velvet, a hard forkie, and a hard 3 pt. The 3 was about 15 yds away, just looking at me. All 3 were broadside.

The only non-moving doe was facing me straight on at 23 yds. Wouldn't turn broadside at all.

Good to get out, see some animals, and anticipate the next trip.
