Funny, but I got checked by a cop in my own driveway last Saturday. I was loading my fishing gear in my car at 4:00 AM. I could hear a car coming down the rod, but didn't see any lights. He saw me leaning into the back of my rig. He raced up the street and hit me with his floodlight. Once he saw the gargage door open and I waved at him he backed down the street and continued his lights out patrol.

Maybe he checked me because he knew I had a phone he could call me back on?
