LOL. I wouldn't worry about it Piper. I don't know how many times I have skipped a dig because I was worried about the weather only to get reports that it was "easy diggin'".

NOAA is a broad brush prediction, and from a micro-climate perspective are often wrong in both directions. The beauty of Razor Clam managment by WDFW is that the openers are spread out and so the clams are almost always there. You may need to spend some effort, but if it was always easy it wouldn't be as fun.

Speaking of lantern holders, I just found my new Clam-Bag belt.
