Football is going to have to change. The legal liability from ex-players dieing far too early is untenable for the NFL. It is not difficult to hit hard and legal without leading with your head above the waist. It is also a far more effective method of tackling. When I lived in New Zealand I watched a much more violent sport, Rugby, played with no helmets. The guys played clean (for the most part) and tough. Maybe we should eliminate helmets for football????
