Don't start charging and don't levy a new tax. If it actually raises a signifigant amount of money the state will begin to dip in for their own purposes. We pay enough! Its time for the hydo co.'s and the Big timber operations to start ponying up. Will we have to raise the money to support all the hatcheries next year? We allready paid! Keep writing those emails and letters. The state provides no enforcment, no decent public access, just heaps of largly incorrect research desighned to maxamize harvest. Thats what we all pay 40.00 bucks a year for. Now they want us to directly finance hatchery operations? I am glad this fishery is safe for now, but I am not satisfied with this outcome. The WDFWs goal should be to protect our fish and wildlife stocks and keep the populations healthy to allow for reasonable harvest. We have paid, they have failed. Now what are they telling us?
Pay more, we'll try again.
