On the advice of several guide friends and a couple of shops I purchased the Simms gore-tex waders and they are the best fishing item I've ever owned! It is hard to justify, but I think they would still be a bargain at a higher price than $379.00. The best desciption I can give is its like fishing in your favorite sweat pants that don't get damp or wet. Extremely comfortable! If you spend the money buy Gore-Tex brand membrane, there IS a difference. The Simms brand is double layered, and in some places triple layered, and carries a good warrantee, as a customer I am obviously very satisfied. Good Luck!
