Not a bad SOTU - pretty standard stuff. Lots of previously tried ideas that didn't turn out so well; some fibs; some non-starters and some good parts. He was more central than I thought he would be considering his "mandate". As an engineer, I did like what he had to say about STEM. As an American, I didn't like the thinly veiled Climate Change (more taxes and regulations that will kill jobs) and weapons threats.
