Fished Blue Creek for early winters this past Saturday (didn't find them) and stopped by the Barrier Dam to see if anything was going on. The silvers are slamming the dam on the south side of the river, but a line of anglers on the north side were catching very few (2 all morning talking to folks). Mostly catching old kings. I did see one nice silver hit on eggs while I was there; most everyone else was using corky/yarn.

The fish seem to be there, but whether they're in the mood or reachable depends on the day.
