I read a lot on this forum how we should all release wild steelhead and I agree whole heartedly. I also hear a lot about how the state fish and wildlife department is not managing are steelhead runs to our satisfaction. Here is my idea. Why not introduce a ballot measure requiring all native steelhead be released. Is this going to hurt anyone? Is this going to cost anyone any money. I'm interested in hearing opinions and ideas.
