I had the same problem with my corsair, but only after about a year and a half of hard abuse... Still works most of the time though.. Waiting for a screw post for it to get in, but my dad's corsair started doing that the other day... and it's been WELL taken care of and used only once or twice a week only a couple of months out of the year.. Who knows.. I'll tell you what though, as long as you keep that little plastic bushing on the end of the spool clean and free of oil and grease (graphite is a good lubricant) they are a smooth casting reel.. definitely! Just I think they need to be slightly redesigned...
