Want to know a good color that not alot of people try (and actually I haven't seen this color at all in local sporting good shops in Tacoma)? For years I've used a green (actual green not chartreuse) bodied hot shot with a black bill. A few years back I decided to experiment and tie up a green/black jig. I've used it in almost every condition and have caught fish on it. At Sportco they have a chartreuse/black jig, but I'm talking Green as in Emerald. A deep almost borderline dark green. I also use pink, pink/purple, or purple. If water is clear, i use a small black jig. Hope this helps....
