perfectly legitimate as long as you're trying to get them to bite, just like any other time. that said, most of the guys that get frothing at the mouth about glow balling belong to the 10' leader and cannonball crowd.

i think fish often come in closer to the bank on the larger rivers at night, due to no sun hitting the water. i've had some really good nights fishing the cowlitz in years past. they seem to bite about the same in the dark.

really with there were a few more rivers open for salmon in the fall past dark. would be really nice for us working guys.
