Divers ... the colors won't make any difference in how fast the page loads. The background and table HTML tags are the same, they just call different colors.

As for the icons, most are very small in file size, and shouldn't add more than two seconds for all those that show up on a page.

If you ever have trouble loading a site ... run a traceroute and see where the problem lies.
