I know that we have to honor the treatys that were signed 100 years ago.But I'm sure that they didn't say they good just slaughter fish and game animals(elk) just because they can.I have pictures that I took of thousands of dead chum salmon on the beach at hoodsport that they threw there and took just the hens for there eggs just because they could, I have seen the pictures of elk that were shot and left laying where they were because they were to far from the road to pack out JUST BECAUSE THEY GOOD !!!.I will never belive that was the intent of the treatys.I also believe that the white man is every bit as guilty as the indians in doing the same thing. (ex. Buffalo) but that doesn't mean it should be allowed to go on.Those treatys were signed a long time ago and times have changed.We keep getting less and less for our dollars as sportsman and it seems like they just keep takeing more BECAUSE THEY CAN.They fish for subsistance thats what I hear all the time,well they now have all these gambleing casinos that there makeing all this money on and now cig. factories being built so they don't really need to fish for subsistance anymore and maybe they should start following the same rules we follow.I also believe that we need to get the gillnetters off the rivers they are not all the blame but they share a good part of it along with dams and farming and logging and yes us.I'm sorry but what is wrong is wrong and they should be stopped from doing it just because they can.I hads hopes of fishing when I retire in two years the way way things are going I'll be takeing my grandson to canada or alaska to fish instead of right here in my own home state.AND I BELIEVE THAT WE DO HAVE RIGHT TO FISH AND HUNT AS AMERICAN CITZENS AND THEY BETTER NEVER TRY TO TAKE THAT AWAY.THATS WHAT OUR ANCESTORS FOUGHT FOR AND I HOPE THATS WHAT WE FOUGHT FOR, OUR RIGHTS AS AMERICAN CITZENS.ANYWAY THATS HOW I FEEL
