This is a tough one to reply to because no one is right and no one is wrong. There are alot of variables to look at. first I know the Quinalt guides that I sell hooks to are out numbered by the netters in the tribe so when ever they try to get something done in there favor or in favor of sportsman it is hard for them to get it done if at all. On the part about the Queets river being netted I drive that stretch of highway allot and have never crossed that bridge without seeing nets in the water!, maybe there are people netting it illegally,if they are they should enforce themselves to help there image with the sportsman. On the other hand the d.n.r has let the clearwater drainage get so over logged that there is setiment getting into the streams, there are not large enough setbacks to keep the water tempatures down and the state let us sportsman retain wild steelhead there for years, which should never have happend in the first place. We are at the point now were we all need to start working towards the common goal of fish first then everything can fall into place after that. Believe me Letty, Tater,Robin and all the other Quinalt guides know the value of there fish as a sportfish, if they did'nt do you think they would be out there in the pouring rain with a bunch of us white motherfuckers whose forefathers put them on reservations, I don't think so. So lets put the fish first and start from there. Peace Superfly
