That's the beautiful thing about the Schneider/Carroll partnership and the always compete mentality. If money is your thing then good luck in free agency. If winning is your thing then welcome to training camp where you may still lose your job to an undrafted free agent. Or a 5'10 5/8" 3rd rounder.

How many times have we seen pro athletes go in the tank after signing a huge contract yet on the Hawks we've seen ET, Cam and Beast all play their best ball after their big paydays. Dumping Flynn and eating his signing bonus sent a huge message both inside and outside the organization.

Tate either signs what Schneider puts in front of him or gets replaced by a "pedestrian" 6th rounder.

The Hawks will never find themselves with half their cap space going to one superstar.
