That happened to me last weekend 2 guys fishing a spot that produces a lot of steelhead throwing jigs and drifting bait. Once they left ran a spoon bam maybe second cast next to the root wad a low teen fish. Them things are Crazy i love throwing spoons think I prefur spoons over bait fishing. Some of the best steelhead I have seen where off spoons.
