The SPU shooter had been referred to mental health services more than once.

What's your plan for keeping/getting firearms out the hands of the mentally unstable? Who decides who is mentally unstable? Do you have to prove you are stable to get a gun? Does the State have to prove you aren't to keep you from getting one, or taking one away?

The NRA's plan is clear...everyone should carry and then we can all just shoot the unstable ones when they go haywire. That hasn't been working so well so far.
