I am another who wears glasses and contact lenses. What has worked for me is customized polarized sunglasses made by eyeglass companies like Davis Optical of Seattle. Yes, comparatively they are pricier than non-prescription models off the rack. But for people like me, with an almost 400 correction, there are few options. Check out your health insurance, you may have eyecare benefits that cover sunglasses. Shop around, most companies match competitors prices. Or bargain with them, they may makeup a discounted pair of polarized sunglasses if it is bought in tandem with another regular pair of glasses. After using them for the first time, you'll find yourself wearing them everywhere. You can't say the same for those ugly polarized singlasses off the rack with the side windows.

Peace Out..........
