I'm going to have to disagree with the opinion given by dcrzfitter. I'm thinking he's never had the opportunity to fish in an Alumaweld. I've fished Alumawelds for the last 15 years and believe they are great boats. I agree Willies are good boats to, but they're certainly not more spendy. You can get a brand new 16ft Willy guide model w/ trailer and accessories for $4000 now. Just check out the current price at South River Marine. Seems like Willy is mass producing his boats now. Hope this doesn't sacrifice the quality?
I also think you can't go wrong with Fishrites either. Personally if I were buying a new boat I would go with an Alumaweld or Fishrite, but that's just because I can't stand the new gunnel Willy is putting on his boats.
