What is, though, is either a liar or an imbecile because he constantly shares "facts" that aren't even suitable for the realm of fantasy.

Now I understand that "conservative" and "GOP" and "Imbecile" and "Not suitable" are often confused since they often come hand in hand, especially over the last 15 years...but I, for one, don't have a bad opinion based on him due to him being "conservative".
