No I said I have never been in situation where a fire arm would have helped the situation. The situation in oly was escalated because a gun was present. I seriously doubt the officer would have confronted the two with out a weapon. He most likely would have followed them and waited for help.

Where else are you supposed to store your guns if it's not at home?

I have been all over the world and the state of Washington is not even remotely a dangerous place.
