The Bay opened yesterday and it is fishing well. I didn't get out in the morning, but did get out in the evening. Saw lots of nice fish caught. My fishing buddy landed one that was 21 lbs. and we saw several more that were in that class along with many in the teens.

My best luck comes slow trolling cut plug herring, without any hardware, off a downrigger at about 40 feet. Second choice is a green spackle back hoochie and flasher. I've had luck on both the mini-hoochie and small flasher and the standard sizes of these.

When the Puyallup is on, Chambers Creek and the mouth of the Nisqually are not far behind.
