I was thinking today about all the new guys on the board and how much it has changed. Several guys have mentioned things about not being able to get info about some things and others have said that they need to look back at old post first. We have all seen this board grow over time and really change.

I was thinking some of us that have been around for a few years should give these new guys some hints to look back on for "OLD TOPICS" I am thinking of a few that really helped me and I'm sure that several of you have some that ring a bell. Maybe if we were to bring back a few of these it would be a great way of helping some of these newer members like they helped us? or am I just shooting in the dark and maybe they don't care about some of the old topics?

Some of my favorites were on 1. Pink worms
2. Egg cures 3. fishing jigs under a bobber (there was alot of talk on this at one time) 4. Rags 5. slinky vs. lead for drifting

there are so many but those are a few that helped me to become a so so fisherman from a didn't know how to tie a knot and lost 7 steelies in 1 day green horn (that was the most steelies I ever hooked in 1 day and I only landed the first one, the rest broke my knots in seconds)

anybody got some other ideas?
