Legal pot is kinda a joke... Atleast how this state did it. I think within the next 5 years it will be completely deregulated. Once they start trying to bust people growing a few plants in their garden instead of paying the tax at the retail store you will see 502's failures.

The state is going to have a hard time convicting people of felony crimes when They are in the business themselves. No jury is going to convict anyone as long as they are not growing on a comercial scale and selling it out of state or selling it to kids.

Most of these comercial growers will be out of business soon as well, half of them are selling both legally and on the black market because they are not making ends meet. When your paying taxes, employees and for all the rediculouse security, not to mention NO TAX WRITE OFFS, t's impossible to make a profit at $280.00 oz. And that's retail for the low grade stuff, the commercials are probably getting $100.00 per ounce for the high grade. I don't think even the illegal market could make any money at $100.00oz, unless they were selling pounds, then they might break even.

It has done a pretty good job of cutting back the legit black market, but now the legal guys are selling it out the back door as well.
