California has a "gun violence restraining" law that's been on the books since 2016. It's been used like never since becoming law.

"In retrospect, should I have done something?" the roommate said. "I did think to myself, I remember vocalizing this, 'If I know anyone that might become a shooter it would be Ian."

This is another classic case of someone showing all the signs of becoming an active mass murderer but nobody did a damn thing to try and prevent it. But alas why should any of us take any action. It's not my job to keep society safe. That's why we have laws and give money to government andshit. They'll fix it. They can fix everything!

But Eddie feels safe so all's golden!
