Google isn't a bad company to own stock in.

Neither is Apple, Amazon, Starbucks, Microsoft, Tesla, McDonalds, Altria Group, Hormel, Walgreens, FMC....


I recommend getting in to an investment club. Been doing that for the last 20 years and as a group, we've outperformed the market every year.
