I'm looking to replace the transom on my 21' Grady. Can anyone recommend someone in the greater Port Ludlow/Port Townsend area that is reliable for that type of work? A push in the right direction would be most appreciated...

Check with Randy at Westside Marine for recommendation locally. Platypus Marine (Bruce Bryant) in Port Angeles is another possibility or might offer a recommendation.

I have used Pacific Fiberglass in Ballard (sorry not as close, but thought I would give you a reply anyway) for some major repairs to my Parker center console resulting from a trailering accident. There work was of high quality and the color match on the gel coat absolutely amazing. Not sure about some of the negative comments on yelp, sounds like communication issues some had. I didn't experience any of these issues. They did more than I was billed for and I couldn't be happier. Good luck with your project. K

Kept your search in mind as I wandered through the Seattle Boat Show. The folks at the Port of Port Townsend did not have a list of Port tenants but did suggest a call to the Port might provide some options for you: POC is Terry Khile, 360-316-6094 (cell).
