As Saukit2em noted, tadpollies or hotshots.
I generally run a tadpolly on the inside rod, i.e., closest to shore, with and SE on the outside rod, and if the water straight behind the boat is over six feet, another SE, and if under six feet, another tadpolly.
The Doctor is my color of choice, with a gold/copper plated plug with a black head as a second choice if the water is more on the clear side. (my own version of the Doctor)
Other colors depend on the conditions, mostly clarity and time of day, with brigher colors and chrome finishes for darker periods of the day, or for darker water conditions, and brown or black/white for clearer water conditions. The black/white, aka cop car, also seems to work in darker water, especially with a little orange or pink thrown in.
Most of my plugs are straight from the package, though several are additionally hand painted to add the above features.
I firmly believe, as with all types of lures, that presentation and water selection is MUCH more important than color. If your presentation is consistently good, I'd go with the Doctor, especially on the Skagit/Sauk, more than any other color scheme.
Good Luck.
Todd.
