If so, would you be willing to share information about the spots (and directions)where you have been successful? Thanks!

Right now the river is very low and very muddy. I have lived in/near the Nisqually valley for 13 years and I don't think I have ever seen it this low in December.

I know the Indians have been netting them below the I-5 bridge and a few at the train tressel.

I was on the gravel bar above the tressel yesterday afternoon. Saw one filleted carcass and a couple fisherman. They only stayed a half hour. I am going to try it again this morning as I don't feel like fighting the madness at Blue Creek.

take the old nisqually/mounts road off of i-5, go east. road will take you to a new bridge, parking is on the right side before the bridge, (if you follow the road in the parking area, and go left this will take you closer to the river.)

Well I went to the Nasty...er, Nisqually saturday morning to find about 2 dozen guys above handicap at first light. No fish caught, none rolling. Went to the cement bridge (Mounts rd) and there were twice as many people there. Still no fish.

So I left and drove an hour to fight the evil horde at Blue Creek.
