Got a question to pose to all of you out there. I'm good at pricing a package deal driftboat, having owned a couple. But now I have a dilema. I have a customer who's either gonna give me (I'm praying this happens) or sell me his driftboat. Now here's the big problem. It's just the boat itself. No oars, seats for the runners, anchor, anchor line, oarlocks, trailer, NOTHING. It's just the boat with interior seatbox and ropeseat. I can say that it's aluminum. From the looks of it, it reminds me of an old alumaweld (the pre-willies days). It's in excellent shape, just needs to have all the extra's put on it. Luckily I have all the extra's already to put on it. So, here it goes, what do you all think it should sell for? It looks to be about a 16/18 footer.

you should be able to get it for 600-1000 bucks depending on how old it is and what sort of shape it's in. Maybe 1200 if it has a good trailer.

Yeah Osprey, I'm sure you'd like that sled in your driveway. Actually, I'm still a cataraft man, just it's nice to have a driftboat when you just want to pull plugs effectively. Plus, for the price, I can't beat it. Actually, since my cat trailer is actually a driftboat trailer, I'm gonna just swap back and forth, leaving my sled in garage and driftboat in driveway. I was thinking 500-700 range for boat, so I was pretty close.
