You must go and buy a vacuum sealer and the jar attachment, where it sucks all the air out of the jar. Thats the only way to keep eggs as fresh as possible. I've put away 167 pints which a pint is a pound, and that is the only way I would do it. Eggs are my life!!!!!!!!!

I have used the jar method and it works quit well the only problem that I found is that you can't store enough eggs in one jar. So here is a way that I have used that also works well. Put your eggs in a vacuum seal bag and freeze the eggs without sealing the bag. After the eggs are frozen then seal the bag. What you have to make sure of though is that when you go to thaw out your eggs you break the seal on the bag. So that when they thaw they don't get smashed in the bag.

Ive tried other stuff and found borax has always been the best for me. Durring the winter I keep my curred eggs in a five gallon bucket outside submerged in borrax. When ever I go fishin I just take out what I need. I fish about four days a week so dont have a problem with them going bad. Also I think they fish better if you dont freeze em.

Just my opinion.
