IT JUST KILLS ME TO SEE THESE NETS SCATTERED THROUGH OUR RIVER SYSTEMS.I THINK THE NATIVE INDIANS DESERVE THEIR FAIR SHARE,BUT ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.IAM WILLING TO DO JUST ABOUT ANYTHING TO HELP STOP THIS SLAUGHTER. Catch n fillet, you are right about we need to start. One suggestion would be to get with a fish biologist to find out the rivers health and what needs to be done. Finding out from tribes what their plans for recovery are or are they considering some. I would also talk to the east coast people to find out what they did to help the salmon (not sure if they also helped the steelhead) recovery. A friend from New York (state) told me they banned nets (to a certain size) and promoted long liners. I'd being willing to help if you need some. Also Scaly you mentioned a Wild Steelhead Forum, do you have more information on it. When, Where, and time. Thanks
