Totally unrelated but I want to fish the Napa River. The Napa River has decent striper and sturgeon fishing. My step-son was born and raised in Napa and he pulls salmon and steelies out of that river. My cousin was born and raised in Napa as well. His grandfather had a prune orchard in Yountville on the river. He told me they would go down to the river when he was a kid and get salmon with pitchforks. Yeah working downtown Napa I was thinking that this little river has the potential to have most sea run fish the west coast has to offer.

Is lake Roosevelt on the Puyallup?
Last couple week's has been nothing but spoons... Last couple days it's been shot, but should be good to go tomorrow or Sunday...
Rough average has been 5 fish a day (2-3 hours tops) with some days approaching 10....
Just wait a couple weeks and the big dawgs come in...

Stripers are stripers. I actually agree with hank for once and a bucktail,well presented ,will hunt. Use an otter tail in favor of the now defunct,pork rind strip. I primarily surf fish now with modified surface plugs and diving minnows like a joe baggs or sp minnow.
