I honestly feel bad for NapD, the dude hasn't gotten any in awhile, AND he has jury duty. I had jury duty last spring and a root canal, and it's a toss up to which one was better.

Thanks man. It's Federal jury duty in downtown Seattle starting next Monday to boot - which means the odds of getting out of it are pegged near zero. I'm really hoping it gets cancelled. Dodging needled poopy bums on the sidewalk to sit around in a room full of coughing, snotty strangers for days on end is going to suck all of the ballz. But hey....$20 dollars is $20 dollars!

Since its Fed District Court, I feel really bad for those that have to drive in from all over the PNW to sit around in Corona ground zero. Can you imagine being in Walla Walla or Moscow right now going "What? I have to go where? When? Noooooo!!!". Those are the real poor bastards.

At least it's not a grand jury. I got picked for a grand jury once and it lasted 18 months. Twice a week for 18 months and my employer was none too happy. But hey, how often do you get to be threatened on the evening news by the bad guys? ("That grand jury is gonna get their's some day"...ha.)

That's awful and makes me twitch. It could end up being a grand jury. Don't know yet or even if I'll be picked. I have to use PTO for the first week, but if it's any longer than that, my employer will pick up the tab. They've been extremely supportive so far. 18 months though and they may start to feel differently. GAH!

Or, just get dismissed when questioned.
