Like to get some feedback for finishing off wrapping the guides on fly rods etc. I used to use varnish, but have been away from rod building for many years. Thanks for any replies.

Might take a look at rodbuilding.org

Just about any rod building info you could ever want. I'm using LS Supreme, a two part epoxy. Pretty much trouble free. Several other good products out there these days.

LS-Supreme by U-40 Trondak. Way better than Flexcoat or any other product. Dries real fast, and even a bonehead like me can mix it perfect!

You can get it from Greg's Custom Rods in Lake Stevens. www.gregscustomrods.com
