Captain Brett Crozier, commander of the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt, was relieved of his command today.

Why, you may ask?

Because when he told the DOD that there was a severe outbreak of Covid-19 on board his ship, they asked him to keep it under wraps. When nothing happened, he asked for help for his men, repeatedly.

Eventually he got test kits in port at Guam nearly 100 of his men were positively diagnosed with Covid-19, and began receiving treatment.

He was relieve of his command for not pretending it wasn't happening...which sounds eerily like how his Commander in Chief managed it for nearly two months.

The Trump Administration sure supports those troops, eh?

The military is going to have a hard time getting any future funds because of this.

Gotta be exhausting trying to defend the actions of the apprentice/con man/liar in chief occupying the White House. If you're silent on Trump's incompetency, you're complicit with it. If you defend his corruption, you're an accessory after the fact. Anyone who calls himself a patriot, should be concerned about America having an uninspiring loser with no leadership skills in command during this national crisis.

I am sure there are plenty of online forums that deny science, economics, and math, and embrace the authoritarian nationalism of a con man and shyster, all the while watching how that plays out across our country right now...and still manage to blame it on anyone and everything else.

We can argue all day about what we should be doing, and there are many defendable positions, but if you think Trump and his response, and the response of his sycophants, is one of them, then you aren't arguing one of them.

Given the fact the men under Capt. Croizer think he's a hero and the men who worked with Gallagher said he was pure evil and willing to kill anything that moved.

You only get Presidential pardons for shooting civilians and posing with the bodies...not for saving your crew from death.

That kind of stuff gets your command yanked because it makes Trump look incompetent...not that he needs any help.
