My condolences on your loss War-Paint. Hold onto that rack. I have my long passed Grandpa's first Whitetail rack hanging up as well. It's a little tiny thing, but it means the world to me.

My grandparents are all long gone. My dad's dad,a world war 2 vet and John Wayne to me,got me into fishing,and steelheading was his passion. He taught me much about the sport. I would have never pursued them had it not been for him,and I never forget that.
That's so cool you have that rack!

Sorry for your loss, War-Paint. My grandfather was truly instrumental in my love of the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and firearms. One of the coolest people anyone would have ever met. I miss him everyday and he passed...25 years ago.
RIP Grandpa War-Paint. You will not be forgotten by those who loved you.

I think it's cool that we get to be inspired by that generation. I have my Grandpa Fred's WW2 Bayonet in my living room.
